Perhaps the most singular wildlife behavior moment I’ve ever been lucky enough to witness and film. A giant bull, heavy enough to crush the back-legs of this young female, tries to mate while the young female’s mother attempts to push him away. Towering over us, we were close enough for the sounds to shake us. A truly enigmatic glimpse into the complexity of animals we so rarely acknowledge.
